Highways Fault Reporting Procedures
To alert Highways to any issues on the list below, please use the following procedure:

Use the Herts Direct website - to report a fault, it will go straight to the live system and be categorised. High priority issues are sent to Triage Officers who assess and raise a job request. A reference number is generated, and there is an option to include your email which will provide you with an update to the situation.
If individuals are unhappy with the outcome, please advise the Clerk with the reference number and brief outline of the fault. The Clerk can then contact the District Service Agent at Ringway who can advise by locating the reference number.
When reporting a fault, please provide as much detail as possible, ie //What.3.Words location, photos, and accurate description of where the fault is. This information is very helpful to instantly identify the spot.

PLEASE NOTE – if a fault is reported several times it will turn the live system from amber to red alerting Ringway operatives.
Please also be aware that problems with waste, recycling, litter, litter-bins, fly-tipping, street cleaning, dog fouling, graffiti are the responsible of North Herts District Council and can be reported under
www.north-herts.gov.uk, or calling: 0800 328 6023.
