Proposal for up to 80 houses off Claybush Road, Ashwell

The Parish Council have received an invitation from Kanda Consulting working with the developer, Hill Residential. Kanda Consulting invite residents to a public consultation event which will take place from 4pm to 8pm on Tuesday 22nd September 2026 at the Parish Room, Swan Street, SG7 5NY. Kanda Consulting advise that this will provide an opportunity to review the proposals, meet members of the project team and raise any initial questions or comments.

The emerging proposals include:
  1. Approximately 80 new homes, including around 32 affordable homes
  2. New public open space
  3. Landscaping and biodiversity enhancements
  4. Improved pedestrian connections with the village
  5. Retention of key views towards St Mary’s Church
