The Future of Local Government in Hertfordshire
The Government is inviting Hertfordshire residents and organisations to share their views on proposals that would change how local government works across the county.
The current 11 Councils, including North Herts, could be replaced by 2, 3 or 4 Unitary Councils.
If a 4 Unitary Council option was chosen Ashwell would fall under the East Hertfordshire area with profound implications for schooling and other matters.
