Members of the public are invited to an Open Day at Royston Police Station on Saturday 24 May. The family open day at the Melbourn Street station will run from 10am until 4pm and will include things like a tour of the station, finger printing activities, ID card making, a detective competition, a look at police vehicles and the opportunity for the Royston community to meet their local officers. Neighbourhood Policing Team PCSO Chris Brabrook, said: “The open day is a great opportunity to meet some of your local officers, sit in a police car and view other emergency service vehicles. “The event is free and anyone who is interested in policing and has questions for officers should come along. “Put the date in your diary and we hope to see you there.” Chris Brabrook - PCSO CPRE - Volunteer WantedHELP PROTECT THE COUNTRYSIDE – JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER TEAM We are a small friendly charity seeking a volunteer to help our Planning Team keep an eye on planning applications in North Herts & Stevenage. No experience needed, just an interest in the environment and in land use planning. 1 to 2 hours per week in your own time, at home.
