Chris Hinchliff MP request to complete road safety survey
FROM CHRIS HINCHLIFF, MP
Constituents regularly contact me about dangerous junctions, speeding traffic, poor road conditions and other longstanding issues that impact safety and quality of life in our towns and villages. Many of these problems have persisted for years yet many, with sufficient commitment and initiative, could be resolved or mitigated relatively quickly.
This summer, I am focusing on highlighting these issues with Hertfordshire County Council and urging them to address these concerns especially where easy wins are possible.
To support this work, I am gathering evidence from communities across the constituency to build a comprehensive and up-to-date picture of the most significant road safety issues facing our towns and villages.
By completing my survey and sharing their experiences, your community will contribute to a report that will be presented present to Hertfordshire County Council, helping identify the areas where intervention is most urgently needed.
I would be grateful if you could share this survey with both parish councillors and your residents more widely and encourage them to participate. The more responses received, the stronger the case we can make for meaningful action.
The survey takes just five minutes to complete, and every contribution will help ensure that local concerns are heard.
