Affinity Water will be starting work to carry out essential network improvements to the water mains along Ashwell Road and Church Lane, Bygrave (SG7).

The upcoming work will be carried out Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm, Saturday, 8am – 2pm. Dates are subject to change.

• Church Lane: Monday 13th October – Monday 15th December 25

Work starts in Church Lane, from Parkwood Lodge to the junction of Ashwell Road. We’ll need to close the road, but to ensure resident access is maintained, this will be done in two stages.

• Ashwell Road: Friday 24th October – Wednesday 19th November 25

We also need to complete work in Ashwell Road, from the junction of Church Lane Road to approx. No. 67 Ashwell Road.

We’ll need to close the road to complete the work safely. A suitable diversion route will be in place, but you may need to allow for a little extra time on journeys.
