Ashwell Neighbourhood Plan approved by the referendum

Parish Council chair Graham Lee said:

I am delighted to be able to report that the Ashwell Neighbourhood Plan was approved in today’s Referendum. The highlights of the ballot are as follows:

• Total votes cast: 388
• % of eligible electorate: 25.01%
• Votes in favour: 364
• Votes against: 24
• Spoilt papers: 0

Huge thanks to everyone who has played any part in the preparation and publicity of the Neighbourhood Plan. It’s a great result.
